AUSTIN DEFILIPPO
GENERAL MANAGER OF REVENUE GENERATION
Austin is from Hamden, Connecticut and went to Endicott College where he studied sports management and business administration. He started his career with the Baltimore Orioles as a ticket partnerships representative before becoming an account executive and then senior account executive with the Durham Bulls. He enjoys traveling, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.

BEN COHEN
TICKET SALES AND OPERATIONS MANAGER
Ben started working in sports at Texas Tech University as a Promotions and Fan Engagement intern where he graduated with a BA in Advertising with a Minor in Sports Management. His other stops in the sports industry have taken him to Cameron University as well as the Air Force Academy. He enjoys watching sports, being outdoors, and playing with his dogs.

RUBEN ALCALA JR
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Native El Pasoan Ruben Alcala Jr. joined UTEP Athletics as a Sales & Service Consultant in April, 2024. Alcala Jr. began his career as a student-athlete at Brookhaven CC in Dallas. While at Brookhaven CC, he won 2019 NJCAA Division III Baseball National Player of the Year and earned a full ride scholarship to Texas Southern University in Houston for the 2019-20 academic year. he finished his studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. In 2023, Alcala Jr. graduated from the Masters of Sports Law & Business program at Arizona State University. During his time in Phoenix, Alcala Jr. served as a Guest Services Intern for the Phoenix Suns during the 2022-23 season. Alcala Jr. enjoys coaching youth baseball, watching sports, and going on hikes with family.

SEAN HUEREQUE
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Sean is a Texas Tech University graduate with a degree in sports management. His career in ticket sales and operations began with companies like the Cleburne Railroaders and Texas Tech Athletics leading him to his current role with Taymar. As an El Paso native, he’s passionate about serving the UTEP community, helping bring people together to celebrate the UTEP Miners' rich history of over 100 years in athletics. In his free time, he enjoys watching basketball games and going snowboarding.
