VP/GM TICKET SALES AND OPERATIONS

David is the general manager of ticket sales and operations at our Samford property. With ticket operations expertise from his time at Arkansas, Southern Illinois and Georgia Tech, he leads our schools with operations oversights – about a third of our properties. David lettered in football at the University of West Alabama and continued on to get his masters at Alabama.

DIRECTOR OF TICKET SALES

AD Briggs is in his second year as director of ticket sales with Taymar Sales U at Samford. In his current role, Briggs develops and implements innovative sales strategies for all Bulldog sports including football and basketball.

Briggs came to Samford after spending a season with the Detroit Lions for the National Football League as an account executive for membership services. Before his time with the Lions, He spent time as a coordinator of group sales for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. While in Brooklyn, Briggs identified and created new opportunities to generate incremental revenue while managing and executing 200+ in-game fan experiences.

The Columbia, South Carolina native holds a Bachelor of Science in sports marketing from Auburn University. Briggs was also a USA National Team Athlete from 2014-2021.
