Taymar Sales U. Announces New Ticket Sales Management Contract with LSU

Marks the second SEC school contract for new upstart

Taymar Sales U. founder and CEO, Mark Dyer, announced a new ticket sales management contract with SEC and national power LSU, the second school the company has partnered with this month. Previously, TSU announced a new outbound ticket sales management contract with Georgia State, and the company was awarded its first contract in September 2018 with the University of Kentucky.

“This is an exciting time at LSU,” said Dyer. “The Tigers’ athletics program is strong across the board, and we are recruiting a talented and experienced team to enhance fan communication and relationship-building with the LSU family. This is the first time LSU has selected an outside company to manage this vital area of outbound ticket sales and attendance,” Dyer added.

“The way fans attend and consume collegiate athletics events is ever changing,” said Brian Broussard, LSU Associate Athletic Director for Ticket Sales & Operations. “We are constantly in search of ways to improve how we communicate with our current supporters and more creative in the way we bring new fans into the fold. We are excited about this partnership and look forward to the future.”

Dyer, a pioneer in the college sports industry, started his career at Host Communications in multimedia sponsorship rising to a senior executive level position early in his career. Later, he experienced success as a member of George Pyne’s senior team at NASCAR, building record revenue for NASCAR’s Charlotte-based licensing and publishing division. Dyer followed Pyne to IMG in 2009 and launched an entrepreneurial division of IMG College in 2010, which experienced dramatic growth, particularly in the ticket sales management space.
