ASSOCIATE ATHLETICS DIRECTOR, EXTERNAL RELATIONS

Cal Cannestra graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2018 with a Sport and Entertainment Management degree. He started at Western Kentucky University in September 2024 as the General Manager of Ticket Sales and Operations. Starting in July 2026 he was promoted to Associate Athletic Director of External Relations overseeing ticketing, marketing, and communications. Cal is an avid golfer and is excited for help WKU Athletics keep growing in the Bowling Green community.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Nick Walters is originally from Texas and discovered his passion for the sports industry during a high school internship with the Allen Americans. He went on to study Sports Management at the University of Tennessee, where he gained additional experience through an internship with One Knoxville SC. Nick is excited to bring his enthusiasm for sports and community engagement to Bowling Green and contribute to the fan experience at WKU.
