Samford Athletics Signs with Taymar Sales U.

BIRMINGHAM, AL – The Samford University Athletics Department and Taymar Sales U. have signed a multiyear agreement for the firm to handle outbound ticket sales and operations for the department’s ticketed events.

“I am pleased to announce our partnership with Taymar Sales,” said Samford University Director of Athletics Martin Newton. “I have known Mark Dyer for some time now and have great respect for his work ethic, character and services he provides to institutions across the country. Working with Taymar will help us to capitalize and continue to grow on the success of our programs, while providing our fans and community with a first-class ticketing experience.”

“We’re honored to be working for Martin and the Samford athletics department,” said Taymar founder Mark Dyer. “Martin and his family are college sports royalty in my book. He’s given Samford great leadership and he is richly deserving of being named to the NCAA Basketball Committee. Samford is a great university with a beautiful campus and a strong tradition in athletics. We look forward to engaging with the community and telling the story of Samford Athletics.”

Samford is the 14th school to sign with Taymar in the 34 months the company has been in business and third Southern Conference member.
