Greenville, South Carolina – Furman University Athletics and Taymar Sales U. have signed a multiyear agreement for the firm to handle outbound ticket sales and operations for the department’s ticketed events.

“Furman Athletics is proud to announce our partnership with Taymar Sales U. as part of our continued commitment to improving our fan experience and growing our university’s brand.” stated Vice President for Athletics Jason Donnelly. “Taymar’s strategic outbound sales strategy complements our marketing initiatives and gives us the opportunity to communicate more directly and effectively with our growing fan base.”

“We love our growing presence with the SoCon,” said Taymar President Joe Rickert. “It is hard to beat cities like Charleston, Birmingham and now Greenville as attractive markets with people who are looking for an affordable entertainment experience.”

Taymar has hired Houghton Flanagan to be the Director of Ticket Sales at Furman. Flanagan has spent the last six years with the Greenville Drive organization, one of the best in minor league baseball.

Furman is the third school from the Southern Conference to sign with Taymar, joining The Citadel and Samford, and the third school from the Palmetto State, joining South Carolina State and The Citadel.
